Brenda is from a rich tradition of music in Co. Meath having learned concertina from Rena Traynor (née Crotty) and Mícheál Ó'Raghallaigh. Good man Jack! Really beautiful music - both your own playing and your recording work: those gorgeous albums from Aidan Connolly, Tony McMahon, etc etc, and that amazing tune from Aoife Ní Bhriain. Most highly recommended for lovers of trad or anyone who appreciates real music - it's just astounding what these musicians can do. To my ears Raelach records has some of the best trad to be found out there

I remember your gig with Rushad down in Castletownbere - nothing like it! Your Debut Album bought that night has pride of place on the CD shelf.
